The system chart SC-1600 is a chart presenting device that displays the charts on an LCD. The charts are controlled by an optional remote control or the control box of the NIDEK refractor*1.

In contrast to a chart presenting device which projects the charts from film, the SC-1600 displays the digitally stored chart shapes on the LCD. This makes the following possible.

• The refraction distance can be set in the range of 2.5 m to 6 m in 1 cm increments. The chart size is reduced or enlarged corresponding the set refraction to keep the visual angle

The SC-1600 is equipped with a power switch to turn the power on or off and function buttons for use with the setting screen. All operations other than those above are performed with the optional remote control or the control box of the refractor.

In addition to the function buttons to switch the charts, the remote control has a LCD that shows the operator the chart being presented.
